Honoring Kendall, My First Service Dog

Support Me

Kendall was my first service dog. We did everything together. We played and worked. We went to book festivals. We visited friends and family out of state. We took photos together in the wash behind our house. He often pointed out quail or rabbits when he saw them. He would stand still until I took the photos. Later he would sit beside me as I sat at my computer and uploaded them to my web page.

Kendall brought me independence and never ending support. He gave me courage to go out and shop, to make friends in the neighborhood, to go to meetings, and to write.

Kendall is gone now. I will miss him forever. He was as great a helper as any could be. He gave me courage to try again. While I wait for a new assistance dog, I want to honor Kendall’s service by raising funds for PAWS. I hope you will join me in supporting this great organization.

This is my personal Team PAWS fundraising page! I am raising funds for Paws With A Cause to give someone a better quality of life.

Paws With A Cause enhances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities nationally through custom-trained Assistance Dogs. This is a cause near and dear to my heart, and every donation made will support a future client dog team!

Don't forget - all donations are 100% tax deductible.
